APN - Mining Assistant

Job Summary: Assist in sampling, quality control, and geological activities, supporting field and laboratory teams. Key Highlights: 1. Support in sampling and quality control activities for mining operations. 2. Collaboration with mining, surveying, and geology teams. 3. Familiarity with geological sample collection and analysis techniques. **Job Responsibilities:** * Assist in sampling activities according to current procedures; * Assist in mining quality control; * Assist in controlling the receipt, routing, and weighing of ore in the yard and feeding into the hopper; * Teamwork Capability: Willingness to work collaboratively with professionals in the field; * Pumping Support: Assisting in the assembly, disassembly, and transportation of pumps and pipes; * Support for Mining Technicians and Assistants in mining, sampling, drilling, and backlog activities; * Verification of samples against backlog dispatch records and delivery of samples to the laboratory; * Collection of QAQC (blank) samples; * Collection of samples from trenches, wells, stockpiles, and channels; * Collection of samples from drill rigs and sondes; * Quartering samples according to quality standards specified by supervision, technicians, and assistants; * Support in blast-hole drilling, verifying project depth and inclination; * Support in surveying activities, checking elevations using GPS at the mine or ore yard; * Support geological mapping for geologists; * Loading and unloading samples at the backlog area, mine site, and laboratories; * Verification of maps, labels, spreadsheets, and required supplies for activity execution. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Familiarity with basic geological sample collection and analysis techniques; * Knowledge of geological equipment and GPS use is preferred; * Completed or ongoing Technical Course in Mining; * Basic computer skills and proficiency in Excel; * Availability for 100% on-site work in Pontes e Lacerda \- MT.
