Job Summary: We are seeking a Design Engineer to create and develop projects, covering the entire process from conception to final delivery, including interpretation of engineering drawings and development of solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Develop shoring, reshoring, and scaffold access solutions. 2. Prepare calculation memoranda and technical reports, and conduct site technical visits. 3. Support the technical team and management, and deliver on-site technical training. Design Engineer Position Description: We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team. The professional will be responsible for creating and developing projects of various types, covering the entire process from conception to final delivery. Responsibilities: • Assist in organizing the technical team to improve performance and productivity; • Interpret civil and architectural engineering drawings; understand, together with the client, the construction methodology and phasing for civil and industrial projects; • Develop shoring, reshoring, column and beam bracing, and facade, tubular, and multidirectional scaffold access solutions; • Draft our solutions in accordance with Brazilian standards and company specifications; • Modify, redraw, and update existing drawings according to client requirements; • Conduct surveys and measurements of buildings, spaces, and locations as necessary for subsequent drafting; • Prepare calculation memoranda and technical reports regarding projects developed by the department; • Perform tasks pertinent to the field using appropriate equipment and software; • Perform other related tasks of equivalent difficulty level when requested; • Visit and monitor construction sites, analyzing with clients the optimal selection and application of equipment; • Conduct technical assessment visits for budgeting purposes; • Visit sites to verify feasibility of executed design projects; • Guide and inspect equipment assembly and usage; • Deliver on-site technical training; • Prepare technical visit reports upon supervisor’s request to maintain proper tracking; • Support management on matters inherent to the area of expertise, identifying and discussing issues and irregularities to assist in defining procedures and actions; • Perform duties in accordance with the company’s quality program procedures to meet certification requirements and improve productivity metrics; • Assist in creating and developing technical processes and documents per managerial guidance; • Support guidance to on-site technical staff regarding equipment and shoring assembly to optimize project execution as planned; • Register documents for integration into our clients’ digital platforms; • Submit information for preparation of monthly reports covering all activities performed by the technical department; Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; * Prior experience as a Design Engineer on medium- to large-scale projects; * Advanced proficiency in technical drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD), structural calculation, and multidirectional scaffolding; * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly and effectively; * Organizational skills, proactivity, commitment to results, analytical ability, dynamism, logical reasoning, flexibility, creativity, initiative, punctuality, willingness to travel, and Brazilian driver’s license category B.
