**Responsibilities:**

Assist in the preparation of bench-scale fermenters;
**2**
Assist in sample collection and microbiological and physicochemical analyses;
**3**
Transcribe generated results into electronic and physical documents;
**4**
Assist in preparing materials and equipment used in processes;
**5**
Maintain laboratory and departmental equipment organization and cleanliness;
**6**
Provide materials used in the fermentation process to the relevant area;
**7**
Assist in preparing and formulating culture media used in fermentation;
**8**
**9**
Assist in conducting flask-based tests;
Carry out a project proposing improvements for the department.
**Requirements:**
* Currently enrolled in a Technical Program in: Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related fields.
* Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency and basic calculation skills.
* Availability for in-person internship.
