





Description: The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for planning, executing, and participating in the development of electromechanical projects for machines, equipment, and installations. Interpreting assembly diagrams and technical drawings, assembling equipment, and participating in the development of maintenance plans. Establishing safety conditions for performing maintenance, interpreting maintenance instructions, and selecting tools and instruments required to carry out maintenance. Responsibilities and Duties * Participate in DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues), reporting incidents or accidents and substandard conditions to raise team safety awareness; * Conduct pre-use inspections of machines, equipment, and tools to verify proper operation, recording and reporting any irregularities found to the immediate supervisor for appropriate action to prevent accidents, losses, and work defects; * Maintain contact with production areas to ensure work is performed within expected standards of safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity, adhering to established schedules; * Consult the previous shift operator and/or supervisor regarding activity progress, any occurrences, and scheduling for the current shift to begin the workday in a planned manner; * Carry out activities according to established operational standards for material handling and storage, proposing continuous process improvements while complying with Safety, Quality, Behavior, and Environmental standards; * Report all incidents, accidents, and damage to products or equipment occurring during activities; * Know, apply, and promote workplace safety, quality, and environmental protection standards and practices; participate in company-promoted programs to eliminate situations posing risks of workplace accidents, quality deviations, or environmental degradation; * Participate in company-promoted management programs (5S, EMC, Surveys, etc.), attend training sessions, and practice their principles to improve organizational climate as well as organizational processes, products, and services; * Ensure organization and cleanliness of the workstation and maintenance and preservation of equipment and tools under one’s responsibility; * Schedule monthly preventive maintenance activities; * Active registration with CRT (Regional Council of Industrial Technicians), or eligibility to obtain such registration prior to employment; Requirements and Qualifications * Experience with maintenance shutdowns; * Experience in corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance; * Intermediate Excel proficiency; * Completed technical education in Electromechanics; 2512060202191515713
