We are looking for a **Mechanical Maintenance Technician I** to join our hydroelectric power plant in Sonora/MS. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment availability and reliability, directly contributing to renewable energy generation that powers Brazil. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on power plant equipment, ensuring full operational functionality. * Participate in commissioning of new systems and supervise outsourced mechanical maintenance services. * Carry out activities in confined spaces and at heights, strictly adhering to safety regulations. * Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes by proposing new ideas and applicable solutions for energy generation. * Maintain up-to-date technical records, preparing reports and completing equipment technical documentation. * Specify materials, issue purchase requisitions, and inspect materials upon receipt. * Comply with and promote the company's Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, and Cybersecurity regulations. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed technical education in Mechanics or Electromechanics, with focus on Mechanics and active CFT (Technical Certification). * Basic knowledge of power generation plant equipment and systems. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, flowcharts, and equipment manuals. * Familiarity with maintenance management tools and technical documentation software. * Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and procedures. * Driver's License Category B. * Preferred: Experience in hydroelectric plants or small hydroelectric plants (SHP), knowledge of machining and sheet metal fabrication. **Additional Information** **For you and your dependents.** * Medical and dental plans. **Exclusively for you.** * Meal allowance and/or food voucher; * Transportation allowance; * Private pension plan; * Group life insurance; * Gym / Quality-of-life programs; * Language program; * Variable compensation program. **ENGIE** has been present in Brazil for over 20 years, leading electricity generation in the country and offering innovative services and solutions to its customers.
