Job Summary: The General Helper (Driver/Delivery Person) is responsible for driving the company's pickup truck, transporting products, assisting with inventory and installation, and maintaining the vehicle. Key Highlights: 1. Drive and deliver company products to customers and installation sites 2. Assist in inventory control and material organization 3. Provide support during installation and perform general support tasks The EMPLOYEE will be hired to perform the role of General Helper (Driver/Delivery Person), and will be responsible for: Driving the company's pickup truck to deliver carpets, installation materials, and other products to customers, installation sites, and other destinations. Assisting in Inventory Control Delivering products sold by the company, ensuring item integrity and adherence to delivery deadlines. Assisting in loading and unloading the pickup truck, organizing materials safely and efficiently, with special attention to carpets to prevent damage. Maintaining and preserving the pickup truck, regularly checking oil level, coolant, tires, and other items, and reporting repair needs. Complying with traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring responsible driving and safe transportation of goods. Accompanying the installer to the installation site, assisting in transporting tools, equipment, and materials, including carpets. Assisting in preparing the installation site, such as cleaning and leveling the ground, when necessary. Providing support during installation, assisting the installer with tasks such as unrolling, positioning, securing, and finishing. Performing material loading and unloading, warehouse organization, and other general support activities. Assisting in maintaining and cleaning company facilities, including indoor and outdoor areas.
