Job Overview (Purpose of the Role) Execute tooling demands, producing specific parts to meet production and production support areas. 2\. Role Scope Areas of interface: All production areas of the plant. Number of direct and indirect reports: Reports to Supervisor and Team Leader. 3\. Key Responsibilities / Activities 1\. Fabricates molds for thermoforming, general fixtures, and maintenance parts for machines and tools through machining and assembly of components, using technical drawings, samples, machine tools, and measuring instruments; 2\. Performs mold installation, adjustments, and replacements; 3\. Records service time and mold anomalies using standardized forms and records, contributing to historical tracking and cost control, manufacturing cycle times, activities, and equipment; 4\. Perform role-related activities in accordance with the WCOM methodology; 5\. Know and comply with the Environmental Policy; 6\. Be aware of the Ethics Policy and adhere to it; 7\. Comply with Occupational Safety regulations; 8\. Ensure implementation of the Quality Policy; 9\. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices related to oneself and/or one’s activity or department; 10\. Observe, guide, and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices and elements of management systems related to one’s personnel and department; 11\. Ensure implementation of the Quality Policy; 12\. Comply with Occupational Safety regulations and ensure implementation of the Quality Policy; 13\. Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices related to oneself and/or one’s activity or department. 4\. Key Challenges and Complexities 1\. Assist in assembling/disassembling parts and assemblies, repairing and adjusting components and fixtures per mechanical drawings and manufacturing orders, ensuring equipment remains operational for the production process. 2\. Assist in performing partial and complete setups. 5\. Relationships Internal External All company departments. Service providers, third parties, and temporary staff. 6\. Qualifications / Requirements: Desirable: Technical degree in Toolmaking or Mechanical Engineering. 7\. Formal Qualifications and Experience: Desirable: 6 months of experience in related fields Knowledge and Experience: Industrial experience. Education and Certification: Mechanical Turner course and/or Mechanical Technician qualification. 8\.
