Promote technical development and disseminate knowledge across the team Apucarana Brazil Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, and Utilities **Job Description \- External Recruitment** **Position Objective** Optimize productive processes and manage engineering projects within Animal Nutrition operations in Brazil, contributing to increased operational efficiency, reduced losses, standardized processes, and technological advancement of plants. This role will also actively manage the global project portfolio, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and compliance with internal and regulatory standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead **continuous improvement and productive process reliability initiatives**, acting on equipment, operational flows, and resource sizing—with focus on productivity, safety, and quality; * Implement and disseminate **continuous improvement tools** (root cause analysis, activity balancing, visual management, layout optimization), promoting a culture of operational excellence; * Lead engineering projects from **technical conceptualization through economic feasibility analysis**, ensuring alignment with business strategies; * Collaborate with **Research & Development** teams to support industrial trials, new product development, and process validation; * Define, detail, and monitor projects focused on **industrial automation**, aiming to increase efficiency and control operational costs; * Manage and monitor the **local project portfolio**, ensuring alignment with stakeholders (operations, commercial, and support functions); * Monitor and control the **CAPEX plan**, ensuring appropriate prioritization and execution within defined timelines and budgets; * Ensure application of company project management methodologies (e.g., **FEL / Wave**), overseeing the full approval and execution lifecycle; * Promote technical development of the team, disseminating knowledge and supporting evolution of the area’s **competency matrix**; * Work cross-functionally across diverse departments and organizational levels, ensuring alignment and execution of strategic initiatives. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering** (Industrial, Chemical, Food, Mechanical, or related fields); * Solid experience in **industrial process optimization** and project management; * Knowledge of **animal nutrition manufacturing processes** or similar industries; * Proficiency in **continuous improvement methodologies** (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.); * Experience in **project management** (CAPEX, portfolio management, structured methodologies); * Experience with **industrial automation** is a plus; * Advanced **English** (interaction with global teams); **Behavioral Competencies** * Strong analytical mindset and results orientation; * Ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders; * Clear communication and ability to navigate across departments and hierarchical levels; * Proactivity, ownership mindset, and focus on continuous improvement; **\#IncluindoVocê** Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are foundational pillars of ADM’s efforts to continue innovating, driving growth, and delivering exceptional performance.
