Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for developing and evolving critical iOS mobile applications, with emphasis on architecture, code quality, and operational robustness in high-complexity projects. The professional will develop and evolve critical iOS mobile applications, focusing on architecture, code quality, user experience, and operational robustness—contributing across diverse technical contexts and challenges over time. Responsibilities * Develop and evolve native iOS applications in business-critical workflows * Design and evolve mobile architectures, emphasizing MVVM and scalable code organization * Integrate applications with backend APIs and services, including BFFs and API Gateway * Ensure performance, stability, security, and code quality * Analyze and resolve complex issues, including those occurring in production * Lead refactoring efforts to improve scalability and long-term maintainability * Apply software engineering best practices (SOLID, clean code) daily * Actively participate in code reviews and technical decision-making * Collaborate closely with backend, product, design, and QA teams * Work in high-volume and mission-critical application environments Hard Skills and Technical Knowledge (Mandatory) * Solid experience in native iOS development using Swift * Proficiency in UIKit and/or SwiftUI * Strong experience with MVVM architecture * Application of SOLID principles and software design best practices * Experience with automated testing (unit and UI tests) * In-depth knowledge of mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, VIPER, or similar) * Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs, including API Gateway and BFF * State management and iOS application lifecycle management * Knowledge of memory management (ARC) and performance optimization * Local persistence (Core Data, UserDefaults, or equivalent) * Knowledge of data modeling and serialization (Codable) * Version control with Git in collaborative environments (PRs, code reviews) * Error handling, fallback strategies, and client-side resilience techniques * Best practices for code quality, organization, and modularization Soft Skills * Clear and concise communication * Technical autonomy in task execution and solution delivery * Logical and systemic thinking * Organization and accountability for deliverables * Ability to question existing solutions and propose improvements * Strong collaboration with backend, product, design, and QA teams * Mature attitude in high-pressure and mission-critical environments Differentiators * Production-level experience with SwiftUI * Advanced automated testing (mocking, snapshot tests) * Experience with distributed architectures and microservices integration * CI/CD experience for mobile (Fastlane, pipelines) * Mobile observability (logs, metrics, crash analytics) * Mobile security (Keychain, certificates, OAuth2, data protection) * App Store publishing, versioning, and release management * Experience with feature flags and gradual rollouts Engagement Model * End-to-end involvement in the mobile development lifecycle * Continuous integration with backend, architecture, and product teams * Active participation in UAT, releases, and ongoing support * Continuous contribution to the technical evolution, stability, and quality of our clients' applications
