Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to develop and enhance data solutions on AWS, with a focus on scalable data pipelines and governance to support analytics. Key Highlights: 1. Handle the entire data lifecycle, from ingestion to analytical consumption. 2. Develop, maintain, and evolve data pipelines in an AWS environment. 3. Implement data governance practices, including data quality and access control. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to develop, maintain, and evolve data solutions in an AWS environment, focusing on scalable pipelines, data governance, and decision support via dashboards and analytical queries. The professional will be responsible for handling the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to analytical consumption—ensuring performance, quality, and reliability of information. **Responsibilities** * Develop, maintain, and evolve data pipelines in an AWS environment. * Implement ETL/ELT processes using AWS Glue and EMR. * Design and maintain analytical dashboards using Amazon QuickSight. * Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries in Amazon Athena. * Perform data modeling for Data Warehouse and Data Lake. * Implement data governance practices, including data quality, versioning, and access control. * Work in Big Data and distributed processing environments, ensuring scalability and performance. Requirements: **Technical Requirements** Proficiency in AWS services, including: * S3, Athena, Glue, EMR, QuickSight * DynamoDB * RDS PostgreSQL Strong knowledge of data modeling, including: * Star Schema * Snowflake * Data Warehouse * Data Lake * Normalization and Denormalization Experience with SQL, Python, and Apache Spark (PySpark). Proven experience in Big Data and distributed processing environments. Experience with Data Lakes and Data Lakehouses, especially with Apache Iceberg. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience with large-scale data governance. Experience in complex cloud environments with high data volumes. Strong analytical capability and business-oriented data vision.
