





We are seeking a **Senior FP&A / Controller Analyst** to work in Brazil, but directly integrated with the US (Miami) finance and controller operations. The professional will be a key bridge between Brazilian and US operations, ensuring that financial processes between Brazil and the US operate with **integrity, accuracy, and speed**, guaranteeing compliance in payments, supporting the local Administrator, enabling swift transfers and wire transfers, and maintaining timely, accurate, and consistent information to uphold high standards of governance and compliance. Employment type: **Contractor (PJ)**. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Daily oversight of the payment cycle (US operations)** * Perform daily review, verification, and approval of posted payments. * Interact directly with the ERP system used in Miami, monitoring all stages of the workflow: payment posting and documentation; required authorizations; bank reconciliation; accounting entries; and system payment clearances. * Work in a **"four-eyes"** model with the Administrator and the Brazil Controller. **2. Critical operational support to the Administrator** * **Execute bank transfers and wire payments autonomously**, as needed. * Ensure prompt delivery of information upon request from the Controller, partners, or investors. * Serve as the focal point for resolving urgent financial matters requiring authority or documentation not available locally. **3. Long-term Financial Planning** * Continuously update business plans for existing and future units. * Refine and maintain long-term financial projections, including scenarios, sensitivity analyses, investment analysis, and return assessments. **4. Budgeting** * Develop, consolidate, validate, and present the annual budget. * Ensure alignment among long-term projections, operational targets, and growth assumptions. * Interact directly with partners and the CFO to validate assumptions and adjustments. **5. Internal Audit & Operational Compliance** * Monitor adherence to expense approval policies and rules, particularly during restaurant operations. * Ensure compliance with requests, authorizations, and defined financial compliance rules. * Identify deviations, propose corrective actions, and safeguard process integrity. **6. Reporting** * Prepare weekly reports for Brazil, analyzing operational and financial performance. * Draft and present bi-monthly reports for investors, including: Financial statements; Operational metrics; Key variances and explanations; Performance insights and risks. * Structure executive-level management materials (Excel + PowerPoint). **7. Integration with Accounting** * Serve as the liaison with local accounting for validation of journal entries, classifications, month-end close, consistency between recorded accounting and investor reporting, and ensure alignment among accounting, controller, and financial planning functions. **Technical Requirements** * **Fluent English (mandatory)**, including mastery of US financial terminology. * Solid experience in FP&A, controller, or audit roles. * Advanced proficiency in **Excel** (modeling, forecasting, dashboards) and **PowerPoint**. * Knowledge of **US GAAP** or experience with international operations is desirable. **Desired Profile** * Organized, disciplined, and able to prioritize effectively. * Capable of working autonomously while maintaining consistent communication with international teams. * Proactive in identifying problems, risks, and opportunities for improvement. * Business-oriented mindset, with responsibility and maturity to handle sensitive information. * Able to resolve operational issues promptly and independently.
