We are looking for a **Senior Back\-End Engineer** with **architectural vision** and **hands\-on** expertise to evolve our platform architecture and implement critical services. You will actively participate in technical decisions, working closely with technical leadership, with emphasis on **microservices, distributed systems, cloud, and integrations with AI/agents.** This is not solely a strategic role: we expect someone who **designs, builds, and sustains** end-to-end solutions. **Your responsibilities:** * Define and evolve **microservices and distributed systems architectures** * Develop scalable, resilient, and high-performance **backend APIs and services** * Contribute to the development of **critical features** and core platform components * Participate in **technical decision-making**, solution design, and domain modeling * Design integrations with **AI services and intelligent agents** * Ensure **technical quality**, standards, best practices, and support **code review\*** * Implement and maintain **observability** and performance (logs, metrics, tracing) * Optimize **data modeling** and queries (SQL and NoSQL) * Conduct troubleshooting, incident response, and continuous improvement * Collaborate on evolving **cloud infrastructure** * Contribute to **refactorings** and modernization of existing systems * Support **maintenance and sustainment** as needed **What we’re looking for** * Strong experience in **Java back\-end** development, with ownership of technical decisions and critical deliveries * Experience with **microservices**, distributed systems, and event/API-oriented architecture * Solid foundation in **SQL and NoSQL databases**, performance, and modeling * Experience with **cloud** platforms and reliability practices (observability, resilience, incident management) * Collaborative mindset, autonomy, and strong communication skills to work with leadership and cross-functional teams **Nice-to-have** * Knowledge of **Python, Angular, and TypeScript** * Experience with **conversational platforms or intelligent agents** * Exposure to **AI platform architecture** * Experience with **streaming** and/or **WebSocket** * Experience with **data analysis/processing** * Work in **high-scale environments** * Participation in strategic architectural decisions **Work model** * Active participation in architectural decisions * Continuous hands\-on development * Development of new features and platform sustainment * Direct collaboration with technical leadership
