Description

Job Summary: Assesses import/export feasibility, classifies products, monitors shipments, negotiates prices, and provides support to management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assess the feasibility of import and export 2. Monitor supply and shipment progress 3. Negotiate prices and procurement terms \- Assess the feasibility of product import and export \- Evaluate correct tariff classification of products \- Monitor supply of all imported products \- Monitor shipment progress until delivery \- Close import cost and tax calculations \- Conduct market research \- Request samples from suppliers for technical approval \- Negotiate prices and procurement terms \- Review and correct shipping documents \- Request and follow up on customs broker procedures \- Resolve batch discrepancies with suppliers \- Support the Purchasing Manager and Executive Management.
