Description
We are looking for a **Tax Analyst** to join our team!
Responsible for calculating taxes and contributions, as well as preparing and reviewing periodic tax obligations, ensuring compliance with current legislation. Handles the recording and analysis of tax documents, tax reconciliations, and validation of information for monthly closing.
Performs data and operational analyses, prepares management reports, and supports decision-making, ensuring information quality and consistency. Also participates in audit support and regulatory requests, contributes to continuous process improvement, and supports team activities.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Record and post tax and financial documents in the system, ensuring correct tax classification and data integrity;
* Calculate indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, and COFINS) for payment to government authorities, ensuring correct application of current legislation;
* Prepare and review ancillary tax obligations (SPED Fiscal, EFD Contributions, DCTF, among others), ensuring consistency of information submitted to regulatory bodies;
* Analyze and validate incoming and outgoing tax documents (invoices, transport receipts, service records), ensuring correct tax classification (CFOP, CST, NCM);
* Perform monthly tax reconciliations, ensuring alignment between tax and accounting records for accurate period closing;
* Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, assess impacts, and propose adjustments to internal processes;
* Support internal and external audits by providing related tax information and clarifications;
* Assist in responding to government inspections and official notices, ensuring timely compliance and high-quality information delivery;
* Analyze tax operations and propose process improvements aimed at efficiency, risk reduction, and tax optimization;
* Prepare management reports with tax indicators to support decision-making;
* Collaborate with internal departments (accounting, finance, logistics, and sales) to align processes and ensure correct tax treatment in operations;
* Support the development and training of Junior and Pleno Analysts by sharing technical knowledge and assisting with daily tasks;
* Participate in continuous improvement projects, process automation, and implementation of tax systems (e.g., SAP, DRC, ReadSoft);
* Contribute to maintaining quality, environmental, occupational health and safety programs, following standards and procedures, identifying potential improvements, and implementing them;
* Comply with norms and procedures related to the Integrated Management System (IMS); Maintain order, custody, and conservation of materials and equipment under one's responsibility, as well as the workplace, and keep all work-process documentation organized;
* Perform other related duties as directed by the immediate supervisor or required by the process.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences — Mandatory
* Active CRC registration — Mandatory
* Advanced English — Mandatory
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite — Mandatory
