Job Summary: This Senior Materials Planning Analyst is responsible for developing production plans, strategically managing materials, analyzing data for continuous improvement, and coordinating logistics flow. Leadership in Continuous Improvement and Data Analysis **You could be our new** **Senior Materials Planning Analyst** **Vinhedo/SP** **Key Responsibilities** * Production and Demand Planning: Develop, implement, and review production plans aligned with demand and business strategy. Collaborate integrally with Supply Chain, Sales, and Production teams in the S\&OP process to ensure balance between production capacity and service level. Monitor KPIs and proactively adjust plans in response to demand fluctuations or operational constraints. * Strategic Materials Management: Define and manage inventory policies (safety stock levels, coverage, turnover), ensuring material availability while optimizing working capital. Collaborate with Procurement and suppliers on lead time negotiations, economic order quantities, and supply performance improvements. * Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement: Analyze production, demand, and inventory data to identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains. Lead continuous improvement and process automation initiatives using analytical systems and tools. * Logistics and Material Flow Coordination: Ensure efficient material flow among suppliers, production units, and distribution centers. Collaborate with Logistics to define transportation and supply strategies. * KPI and Performance Management: Define, monitor, and report planning and materials KPIs (e.g., service level, inventory coverage, forecast accuracy, OTIF), proposing action plans for deviations. * Cross-Functional Communication and Interface: Serve as the focal point between Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service, ensuring alignment and agile decision-making. Support resolution of complex supply and planning issues. * Governance, Processes, and Quality: Support and ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO, GMP, HACCP, 5S), and standardize and structure planning and materials management processes. * Act as mentor to junior/pleno analysts * Participate in strategic projects / system implementations (e.g., ERP) **Your Skills, Experience, and Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience in planning. * Intermediate English * Basic Spanish * Proficiency with Office suite and ERP systems. * Advanced Excel. * Power BI is desirable. **SIG Competencies** We seek individuals who consistently deliver results, even under challenging circumstances.
