Our commitment is to ensure fair processes and an inclusive environment where talent and initiative are the true criteria for growth. **Position Title:** Junior Digitalization and Automation Analyst**Location:** Pouso Alegre, MG; São Paulo, SP; Feira de Santana, BA; Ilhéus, BA; Balneário Piçarras, SC \- Hybrid**Reports To:** LATAM ERA Systems and Automation Manager As a **Junior Process Development and Automation Analyst**, you will be responsible for supporting the development and improvement of systems, processes, and automation, contributing to the implementation of new technologies, feasibility analysis, project documentation, and the continuous optimization of production processes. **Responsibilities** * Support the development and enhancement of digitalization and automation solutions at Newell's manufacturing sites and distribution centers across Latin America * Support plant engineering teams and external integrators in defining technical requirements for automation, digitalization, and industrial systems, ensuring clarity for local execution * Support the development, implementation, and improvement of production lines and special equipment, adhering to the company’s global Automation standards, involving PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Motion control, industrial networks, and control systems * Support the implementation and integration of regional industrial digitalization systems, including MES, CMMS, Operational Technology (OT), IT, ERP (Datasul and SAP), connectivity, automatic OEE measurements, and Power BI dashboards * Monitor and maintain up-to-date project documentation (scope, drawings, technical lists, specifications, process flows, test plans, and technical records) * Assist in the technical assessment and analysis for new equipment, production lines, and process improvements * Participate in industrial process mapping to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and digitalization * Contribute to production data analysis, industrial KPIs, and machine performance to support engineering decisions * Support the technical oversight of domestic and international suppliers related to automation, industrial systems, and technical projects * Support the Procurement team in developing technical specifications for purchases and monitoring deliveries of automation equipment and services * Assist in validating technical deliverables from integrators and suppliers, ensuring compliance with defined requirements * Participate in developing more robust, secure, and data-driven industrial processes, contributing to quality, performance, and cost improvements * Contribute to root cause analyses related to process, system, and equipment failures, proposing simple adjustments aligned with technical teams **Requirements** * Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Engineering * Technical knowledge in electro-electronics and industrial automation (PLCs, HMIs, Motion control, Robotics, Industrial Networks) * Experience with automated manufacturing and assembly processes * Familiarity with industrial data analysis and performance indicators * Basic knowledge of MES, CMMS, and ERP systems (e.g., Datasul and SAP) is desirable * Willingness to travel * English proficiency is a plus Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well\-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz.
