




Job Summary: A professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, and configuration of fiber optic networks and equipment, utilizing precision tools and adhering to safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Full-scope involvement in fiber optic network installation and maintenance 2. Use of precision tools such as OTDR for diagnostics 3. Wi-Fi network configuration and throughput testing * **Installation and Activation:** Perform optical drop installation, hardware mounting, fiber connectorization, and ONU/router configuration in residential and corporate environments. * **Network Maintenance (Preventive and Corrective):** Address cable breaks, perform fiber splicing, and repair customer terminal boxes (CTO) and splice closures (CEO). * **Diagnostics and Testing:** Utilize precision tools such as **OTDR**, power meter, and optical pen to identify attenuation points or cable breaks. * **Equipment Configuration:** Configure Wi\-Fi networks (channels, frequencies 2\.4/5GHz) and conduct throughput testing (bandwidth). * **Infrastructure:** Aerial and underground cable deployment, following safety regulations (NR\-10 and NR\-35) and utility company standards. * **Documentation:** Record service activities via system/app, close service orders, and interpret network diagrams and maps (Google Earth or similar). **Required Qualifications** * Completed high school education (a technical background in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Networks is preferred). * Experience in fiber optic splicing and operation of fusion splicers. * Knowledge of GPON/FTTH network topologies. * Basic understanding of TCP/IP networks (LAN/WAN configuration and basic routing). * Valid Brazilian driver's license (Category B).
