Job Summary: A professional responsible for the construction, assembly, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures and roof coverings. Key Highlights: 1. Work in compliance with occupational safety regulations A professional responsible for the construction, assembly, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures and roof coverings on residential, commercial, or industrial construction sites. Main Responsibilities: * Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications. * Construct and assemble wooden structures (rafters, battens, beams, and trusses). * Install roofs using various types of roofing materials (ceramic tiles, metal sheets, fiber-cement sheets, etc.). * Perform roof repairs, replacements, and maintenance. * Apply waterproofing and thermal/acoustic insulation techniques. * Ensure alignment, leveling, and structural safety. * Work in compliance with occupational safety regulations (use of PPE and fall prevention). Technical Competencies: * Knowledge of structural carpentry. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Proficiency in handling hand and power tools (circular saw, drill, screwdriver, level, plumb line, etc.). * Knowledge of wood types and roofing materials. * Basic understanding of measurement and angle calculations.
