They ensure food quality from receipt through distribution, verifying temperature, expiration dates, and storage conditions. They also maintain kitchen organization and sanitation, as well as cleanliness of utensils and equipment, complying with all food safety regulations and good handling practices. Additionally, they perform appropriate portioning of meals, operate industrial equipment such as ovens, kettles, and griddles, support meal distribution, and report the need for replenishing supplies when necessary.
