Alicerce Educação is a social impact startup with the mission of reducing educational inequality in Brazil. Alicerce educators—whom we call Guides—work with youth and adults to develop reading, writing, mathematics, and workforce-oriented skills for students who, for various reasons, were unable to complete their formal studies. **Your responsibilities will include:** Teaching Portuguese and Mathematics (covering Basic Education I and II curricula) and professional qualification topics. Contributing to the personal and professional growth of MRV construction company employees. Being part of an innovative social project. **Mandatory Requirements for Application:** \- Completed undergraduate teacher training degree (Licenciatura) in Humanities, Biological Sciences, or Exact Sciences; \- Teaching experience; \- Availability to deliver pedagogical pathway subjects—including Portuguese, Mathematics (Basic Education I and II), socioemotional skills, and exploration of contemporary themes aligned with the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC)—adapting content to the project’s target audience; \- Basic knowledge of the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office applications, and the Internet; \- Proficiency in modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT); \- Personal computer or laptop with internet access. **Preferred Qualifications:** \- Experience teaching youth or adults; \- Experience in social projects. **About the Position:** Location: Rua Euchério Rodrigues, 705 \- Industrial District / Juiz de Fora\-MG Class Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM Contract Type: Independent Contractor (Legal Entity / PJ) Compensation: BRL 37.20 per hour worked \+ 1.5 hours weekly for pedagogical rituals (total of 6 hours per week). Expected Start Date: February 2026 Position Type: Freelance / PJ Contract Duration: 2 months Payment: BRL 37.20 per hour Relocation / Travel Requirement: * Juiz de Fora, MG: Relocate or travel to the job location prior to starting work (Mandatory) Education: * Completed Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory) Experience: * Teaching experience (Mandatory) Work Location: In-person
