Tests include routine analysis of in-process and final products, as well as verification and monitoring of instrumentation performance. In this role, you will conduct tests and document results. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------------------ * Work independently within a multifunctional team, serving as the focal point for laboratory routines. * Maintain laboratory supplies ready for use by conducting inventory, placing orders, and verifying receipt. * Assist in evaluating and interpreting highly complex data, identifying issues arising from atypical test results by consulting with senior personnel. * Solve problems by examining and evaluating data; select appropriate corrective actions. * Conduct supporting tests and experiments under the direction of more senior team members. * Apply safe laboratory practices to protect oneself and others, verify proper functioning of workstations, routinely participate in safety meetings, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of complex standard equipment and instruments. * Handle complex administrative, technical, or customer support issues under minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues to the appropriate team. * Other duties as assigned. #LI-Onsite #LI-4425 **QUALIFICATIONS** ----------------- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field. Active registration with the respective professional council. * Experience directly involved in laboratory analyses. * Knowledge of LIMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel). * Intermediate English (reading and writing). * Skills: Critical thinking, teamwork capability, promotion of a cooperative environment, organization, ability to operate critical equipment, proficiency in creating/reviewing documents. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of mineral analysis (ICP) is desirable.
