Our bakery is one of the store’s major highlights, renowned for the daily production of fresh, high-quality breads, sweets, and savory items. **Work Location:** Rua Van Lerbergue (formerly 34\), 24 Corner of Rua Santos Guedes (formerly 45\) Near the bus terminal **Neighborhood:** Itaipuaçu – Jardim Atlântico **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced, responsible, and committed **Baker** to handle the bakery’s daily production. The professional will be responsible for preparing products, organizing the department, and ensuring quality, flavor, and standardization of items offered to customers. **Main Responsibilities:** * Produce breads, doughs, cakes, and other bakery items according to company standards. * Prepare and ferment doughs, fillings, and toppings. * Operate ovens and bakery equipment. * Plan and organize daily production. * Ensure product quality, freshness, and standardization. * Supervise and guide bakery assistants, when necessary. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area, complying with sanitary regulations. * Monitor expiration dates, waste, and ingredient utilization. **Requirements:** * Proven prior experience as a baker. * Knowledge of traditional baking techniques. * Basic understanding of food hygiene and good food-handling practices. * Organization, responsibility, and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively in a team. * Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Minimum of 1 year of registered work experience. * Knowledge of artisanal bread, sweets, or basic confectionery production. * Experience working in supermarkets or high-volume bakeries. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary commensurate with the role. * Benefits: Transportation allowance, meal voucher, and bonus. * Opportunities for professional growth. * An organized, collaborative, and respectful work environment.
