We are looking for an SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) professional to strengthen the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. This person will be responsible for ensuring application and infrastructure stability, driving process automation, continuous monitoring, and incident response. They will also collaborate closely with development and technology teams to continuously improve environments and ensure the best possible user experience — aligned with engineering and operational best practices. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and executing migration strategies for microservices from Cloud Run to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and cost optimization; • Optimizing high-traffic WordPress site infrastructure, focusing on performance, caching, database tuning, and scalability; • Managing and enhancing edge computing and security layers using Cloudflare (WAF, Workers, Page Rules, Argo Smart Routing); • Maintaining and evolving infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform/OpenTofu, ensuring environment standardization and automation; • Implementing and improving observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, and defining SLOs/SLIs to guarantee system high availability; • Supporting the technical development of team members by promoting best practices, automation, and a reliability culture. **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ Technical requirements: • Solid experience with Kubernetes (GKE, Helm, Ingress Controllers, and resource management such as HPA, VPA, and Requests/Limits); • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including IAM, VPCs, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run; • Experience configuring and optimizing the Cloudflare ecosystem (DNS, caching, security, and performance); • Advanced knowledge of WordPress infrastructure and scalability in high-traffic environments; • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar). **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- Preferred qualifications: • Experience with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization; • Knowledge of dynamic edge caching strategies; • Experience with AWS; • Experience in data lake or data warehouse projects. **Employment Type:** -------------------------- Contractor (PJ) **PwD Inclusion:** -------- YES **Benefits:** --------------- What makes us unique: Our PLUS Club iFood Benefits — Monthly food credit to choose where and what to eat, with freedom and convenience.
