Responsibilities and Duties * Coordinate operator and assistant teams in forest harvesting activities (felling, extraction, loading, and internal transport). * Monitor operational planning according to the factory’s supply schedule. * Ensure achievement of volume, deadline, and quality targets for timber delivered to the industry. * Monitor performance indicators (productivity, yield, losses, fuel consumption, and mechanical availability). * Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety, Environmental, and internal procedural standards. * Guide and train the team on best operational practices and proper use of machinery and equipment (e.g., harvester, forwarder). * Support scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance for forestry equipment. * Control production records, working hours, and team movements. * Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and sound forest management practices.
