Job Summary: Responsible for performing corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring safe plant operation through systems and procedures. Engaging in predictive maintenance and compliance with safety standards **PURPOSE AND IMPACT OF THE ROLE** ---------------------------------- Responsible for performing mechanical maintenance—corrective, preventive, and predictive—on machinery and equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Always guided by layouts, drawings, schematics, instructions, and other specific documents; using appropriate instruments and tools; executing work orders generated via the SIEM activity management and work order control system, to ensure safe and flawless plant operation. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** -------------------------------- * Study the work to be performed by consulting layouts, technical drawings, specifications, and other documents; * Install pneumatic and hydraulic networks; perform maintenance on piping and equipment such as pumps, valves, and actuators. * Inspect and repair mechanical systems; perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on factory equipment (pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic); review received manuals, drawings, and sketches to determine materials required for fabrication or repair of machines or parts; test operational performance of equipment; * Troubleshoot automatic packaging machines and sewing machines, including: identifying issues related to mechanical components such as bearings, belts, and pneumatic systems. * Supervise mechanical activities carried out by third-party companies. * Quantify and select materials required for maintenance tasks, requesting necessary equipment and tooling; * Assemble, disassemble, and adjust machine and equipment parts; conduct routine inspections to assess the condition and functionality of mechanical equipment, ensuring proper operation; * Perform lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations on all mechanical and pneumatic equipment according to each machine’s specifications, using appropriate instruments; * Complete work orders by documenting repairs performed, parts replaced, and time spent on the activity. * Conduct predictive maintenance, including assessing bearing and belt conditions—and replacing them when necessary per established standards—as well as vibration analysis, temperature monitoring, and lubrication monitoring; * Perform minor welding and oxy-fuel cutting tasks when required; * Maintain cleanliness, preservation, and upkeep of equipment, tool storage, and the workplace; * Work in compliance with occupational safety regulations and technical, quality, safety, hygiene, health, and environmental protection procedures. **QUALIFICATIONS** ----------------- Currently pursuing or completed Technical Course in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics; Experience in industrial mechanical maintenance; Basic Microsoft Office proficiency; Availability to work rotating shifts.
