Professional responsible for maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles, identifying and resolving complex faults in engines, gearboxes, and electronic systems.

**Description and Responsibilities:**

* Use heavy-duty automotive scanners (e.g., Star Diagnosis, Scania SDP3, or Volvo Tech Tool) to trace faults in electronic control units (ECU), sensors, Common Rail injection systems, and exhaust after-treatment systems (Arla 32 / Euro 5 and Euro 6\).
* Perform full disassembly, repair, and reassembly of diesel engines, gearboxes (manual and automated, e.g., Opticruise or I\-Shift), retarders, and differential systems.
* Respond when a bus exhibits hard-to-diagnose faults (e.g., intermittent power loss, engine overheating, air pressure loss in pneumatic braking systems, or electrical/hydraulic failures).
* Support and guide Junior and Semi-Senior mechanics during work execution—answering technical questions, verifying torque specifications, and teaching proper maintenance procedures.
* Certify service quality and confirm the bus is fully roadworthy for long-distance passenger operations.
* External Mechanical Roadside Assistance: When a bus breaks down in transit or on highways, Senior Mechanics are frequently dispatched in a rescue van to provide emergency assistance.
**Requirements:**
* Completed high school;
* Technical course: Automotive Mechanic
* Willingness to travel
* Proven experience in bus maintenance
