Works directly in the field, performing cuts, connections, repairs, and tests on water and sewage networks, operating specific equipment, and driving vehicles as required. Also ensures quality, safety, and compliance of performed services, advising customers and colleagues on appropriate use of systems and equipment. Responsibilities and Duties Install piping and connect hydraulic equipment for water and sewage systems; Monitor and inspect daily closures performed on new connections and hydraulic repairs; Cut, thread, bend, curve, assemble, install, and maintain plumbing, piping, and auxiliary components for water, sewage, heating, and sanitation systems; Install pipes and tubing, and define their layout and dimensions; Perform maintenance on water distribution networks and connections to water/sewage networks; Replace water meters, interrupt water supply, and reopen service upon customer request; Conduct operational pressure tests and leak-tightness tests on distribution networks; Operate necessary equipment such as compressors, vacuum pumps, brush cutters, and other required tools; Perform maintenance and painting tasks on masonry, piping, and small-scale civil works; Be responsible for safety matters related to construction signage, roadways, and individual and collective protective measures.
