Description: Position: Logistics Shipping Supervisor Karter Lubrificantes is seeking a Logistics Shipping Supervisor with experience in industrial operations and preferably with background in the lubricants sector. This person will be responsible for leading shipping activities, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound product flow, adherence to delivery deadlines, and delivery quality to customers. About the position You will be responsible for supervising the shipping process—from order receipt through product loading—ensuring accurate material handling, storage, and dispatch. Your focus will be on productivity, safety, and operational excellence, guaranteeing that customers receive our products on time and with Karter’s quality standards. The Shipping Supervisor plays a strategic role by ensuring that all operations run seamlessly, safely, and in accordance with quality standards—directly contributing to the company’s performance and growth. Responsibilities * Supervise shipping operations, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality and safety standards; * Coordinate teams of verifiers, operators, and logistics assistants, promoting engagement and operational efficiency; * Ensure proper packaging, identification, and loading of products; * Monitor logistics performance indicators (productivity, losses, deliveries, and operating costs); * Support load planning and delivery route optimization in partnership with the transportation department; * Manage inventories of finished goods and packaging materials; * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in shipping and storage processes; * Ensure compliance with safety procedures and good operational practices. Qualifications * Technical or undergraduate degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or related fields; * Prior experience supervising shipping or industrial logistics operations; * Experience in the lubricants, chemical, or petrochemical sector is desirable; * Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics control tools; * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; * Willingness to work on-site and manage teams across different shifts, if required.
