Asphalt Paver Operator (PCD)

Description

Job Summary: The professional will apply and spread asphalt products, prepare the ground, and monitor and control the paver operation for surfacing. Key Highlights: 1. Basic operation and maintenance of asphalt paver 2. Preparation and application of asphalt products 3. Control of asphalt mixture consumption and temperature * Perform activities related to application, priming, and spreading of asphalt products, properly preparing the ground to receive asphalt mix; * Collaborate with the Asphalt Paver Driver; * Monitor the machine, replenish it with necessary materials, and prepare it for mixing and applying the surfacing; * Control the progress of the operation, regulating material consumption and asphalt mixture temperature to form layers of specified thickness; * Organize work activities and perform basic machine operation and maintenance; * Lubricate and clean the paver with diesel oil at the end of operations.
