Job Summary: Operator of heavy equipment for loading and handling materials, performing basic machine maintenance and reporting incidents. Key Highlights: 1. Performing sweeping and earth/material handling * Operate equipment to load trucks with heavy cargo such as bricks, cement, and sand (in small quantities) and perform road cleaning (broom); * Handle gearshift, steering, and bucket elevation controls; * Sweep roadways, spread, excavate, and move soil, stones, sand, gravel, or similar materials; * Carry out activities in sequential steps; * Estimate the duration of tasks; * Operate equipment from various manufacturers; * Park the machine on level ground; * Perform basic machine maintenance, checking oil, fuel, and water levels; * Record information regarding machine usage; Report service incidents and problems detected with the machine.
