Candidate information for open positions during the selection process is rigorously handled in accordance with the LGPD – General Data Protection Law.* **Responsibilities and duties** * Conduct grinding and flotation tests at laboratory bench-scale and pilot-scale in the Process Laboratory; * Conduct industrial tests (reagents, liners, grinding media, etc.); * Perform and analyze data from geometallurgical tests included in production plans; * Provide technical support for developing new processes and new suppliers; * Accompany technical visits by suppliers; * Support budget preparation; * Provide technical support to production teams, advising and delivering training; * Monitor and analyze critical variables affecting the production process; evaluate consumptions; data and parameters impacting plant performance; * Critically and statistically analyze processes operating outside required parameters; * Develop sampling plans for mass balances, water balance closure, and metallurgical balance closure, for performance investigation; * Accompany maintenance and operations teams during corrective and preventive shutdowns for equipment and wear-part inspections; * Monitor daily plant operations; * Other related activities. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering; * Postgraduate specialization in Mineral Processing preferred; * Knowledge of copper beneficiation processes, sampling techniques, and statistics preferred.
