Responsible for operating forklifts; loading, unloading, and transporting materials in accordance with internal regulations; assisting in the organization, storage, and dispatch of materials; recording various information and performing other similar activities. **Responsibilities and Duties** Visually inspect vehicle conditions and control functionality, reporting any irregularities to the responsible person and requesting maintenance services when necessary, ensuring vehicle appearance and operational condition. Perform visual inspections and necessary tests on the equipment’s safety systems, requesting maintenance services upon detecting any irregularities. Operate forklifts by appropriately actuating controls to load, unload, and transport raw materials, finished products, and related items within the industrial environment. Transport containers and/or products from inventory between various workstations using the forklift, actuating the forks to lift or lower materials or containers and place them at the appropriate location. For gas-powered forklifts, drive the vehicle to a location near the refueling station (as defined by internal rules); refueling must be performed exclusively by another qualified professional (Forklift Refueler). Assist in the organization, storage, and dispatch of materials, as well as in recording various information. Read and interpret regulations, procedures, specifications, drawings, measuring instruments, and/or general instructions regarding assigned tasks.
