Loading Assistant

Description

Job Summary: Assist in loading and unloading operations, goods sorting and preparation, while maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness and safeguarding equipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support all vehicle loading and unloading activities 2. Maintain warehouse and common area organization and cleanliness 3. Take care of material handling and preservation equipment Assist in vehicle loading and unloading operations as instructed by the Checker or designated personnel. Assist in cargo sorting according to the schedule prepared by the Checker. Assist in arranging cargo during vehicle loading or palletizing during unloading. Assist in preparing cargo for dispatch (palletizing, labeling, handling, and loading). Pay close attention to the Checker's instructions to ensure cargo is handled correctly and in accordance with received work instructions. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and adjacent areas. Ensure cleanliness of common-use areas (locker rooms, restrooms, sanitary facilities, kitchenette, etc.). Store pallets properly stacked and in designated warehouse areas. Maintain material handling equipment clean and in good working condition. Assist the Checker in completing the vehicle checklist upon receipt or loading. Assist in recovering transport packaging and damaged goods when instructed by the Shift Supervisor. Assist in delivery or pickup of goods when instructed by the Warehouse Supervisor. Assist the warehouse team in all department-related activities.
