




Description: * Completed technical course in Mechanical, Tooling or similar. * Experience in the role, preferably in tooling or mechanical maintenance focused on extrusion. * Knowledge in operation of conventional lathes and milling machines. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and basic tolerances. * Proficient in using measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, depth gauge, dial indicator). * Understanding of adjustments, polishing and finishing of extrusion tools. Desirable: * Experience machining heads, nozzles and calibrators for PVC. * Basic knowledge of metallic materials and component wear. * Experience in tooling related to the tube extrusion process. * Experience with wear control, standardization and traceability of tooling. * Operate conventional machine tools (lathe and milling machine) to adjust, repair or manufacture simple parts used in extrusion tooling, such as nozzles, heads, calibrators and flanges. * Perform adjustments and polishing on extrusion tools and devices, ensuring dimensional conformity and proper surface finish. * Conduct dimensional measurements and visual inspections, ensuring tolerances comply with technical standards and process instructions. * Carry out assembly and disassembly of tooling (nozzles, calibrators, heads), ensuring cleanliness, integrity and correct alignment. * Support setup of extrusion lines, ensuring tooling availability and good condition prior to production start. * Record detailed machining and adjustment activities, maintaining an updated tooling history. * Ensure organization, preservation and identification of components and tools, applying 5S principles. * Strictly follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO) during interventions. * Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, contributing suggestions and standardization of best adjustment practices. 2511120202181364304
