Hardware-software integration and component certification **About the Role:** We seek a technically senior engineer to lead the hardware and firmware development of mission-critical industrial products. This position requires a strong focus on low-level **bare-metal** development and rigorous printed circuit board (PCB) design, moving away from generic prototyping platforms and concentrating instead on industrial microcontroller architectures. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Define hardware architecture and technical specifications for new products. * Develop schematics and validate complex PCB layouts. * Develop firmware in **C/C++ Bare Metal**, with direct register and peripheral access. * Perform hardware-software integration and component certification. * Support the full prototype lifecycle through to mass production. ### **Critical Technical Requirements:** * **Proven experience (10+ years)** in hardware and embedded systems development. * Deep expertise in **C/C++ for Bare Metal** (without reliance on high-level abstractions or third-party frameworks). * Advanced knowledge of microcontroller architecture (registers, interrupts, timers, ADCs). * Experience with professional schematic and layout tools (e.g., Tango SCH or similar). * Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Electronics Technician qualification is mandatory). ### **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with the **Renesas** family. * Version control using SVN.
