




Job Summary: Work in the Cutting Department, performing cuts on leather, linings, and fabrics; operating and maintaining the cutting machine efficiently and safely to ensure material quality. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate and maintain leather, lining, and fabric cutting machines. 2. Ensure the quality of cut materials and fulfillment of production orders. 3. Perform programming and preventive maintenance of the cutting machine. Work in the Cutting Department, performing cuts on leather, linings, and fabrics; responsible for operating and maintaining the cutting machine efficiently and safely, ensuring completion of work orders and quality of cut materials, as well as performing other related and inherent duties. 1\. Carefully read the daily work order, verifying reference and number of pairs, and enter the information into the cutting machine's operating system. 2\. Power on and off the cutting machine daily according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure proper usage and extend its service life. 3\. Receive materials to be cut, such as hides and linings, verifying quality, quantity, and specifications per the work order. 4\. Program the cutting machine according to the work order, selecting necessary parameters including cuts, scoring, perforations, and part identification. 5\. Select the work order reference in the system and manually position parts to maximize utilization of the available usable area. 6\. Collect reusable material scraps, classify them by item, measure them on the leather measuring machine, and record information for return to inventory. 7\. Collect non-reusable material waste and dispose of it appropriately. 8\. Replace accessories (blades, perforators, scorers) as needed to keep the machine in optimal working condition. 9\. Maintain and clean the machine, removing residues, and contact technical support for repairs when necessary. 10\. Ensure organization, cleanliness, and preservation of machines and materials in the area.
