




Job Summary: A professional responsible for preparing, assembling, and installing reinforcing steel cages for concrete structures, following safety guidelines and procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Assembly of rebar cages for various concrete structures 2. Preparation and handling of reinforcing bars and steel mesh 3. Safe work practices in structural construction Prepare reinforcing cages for cutting and bending of rebar for concrete slabs and walls; perform tying of reinforcement loads and hoisting via Mini Crane; assemble and install reinforcing cages for concrete walls according to safety guidelines and procedures, aiming at constructing concrete walls and structures. Responsibilities and Duties: Receive and store steel mesh and reinforcing bars in accordance with instructions from rebar foremen and/or skilled workers. Assemble reinforcement cages for walls, slabs, footings, foundation blocks, stairs, columns, and beams. Prepare workbenches and cutting machines; list materials required for reinforcement; select and measure steel mesh and reinforcing bars. Analyze dimensions of components for cutting and bending. Sketch the cutting process and define bar cuts according to component lengths. Assemble cutting jigs when necessary; position reinforcements per design drawings. Identify distribution bars within reinforcement cages; assemble and splice distribution bars; mark spacing intervals; assemble stirrups. Position reinforcements per jigs; identify beam assembly locations; fix external spacers to reinforcements; join foundation, beam, and column reinforcements; tie slab reinforcement to beams.
