Job Summary: A professional responsible for supervising and planning daily logistics demand, ensuring delivery execution, inventory management, process optimization, and team development. Inventory tracking and continuous improvement * Supervises and plans daily demand according to the established delivery schedule. Conducts meticulous control via a detailed visibility dashboard, ensuring execution of all order stages—including picking, verification, invoicing, cross-docking, loading, route planning, proper order closure, and accurate recording of reasons for any delivery failures; * In cases of stockouts, closely monitors departmental stock management, including evaluating offers of similar products or confirming stock ruptures, aiming to ensure dispatch occurs on the agreed delivery date; * Ensures smooth flow of same-day immediate pickup demand, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and quality. Also monitors orders with expired pickup deadlines, taking necessary actions such as contacting customers or canceling orders; * Maintains daily interaction with the control tower and holds monthly meetings, reviewing incidents and supporting the logistics administration team under close managerial oversight; * Supervises the ADM team to guarantee that all scheduled deliveries for the day have a Transport Document (DT). In cases where this document is missing, directly engages with carriers to ensure route planning is completed, safeguarding our OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance indicator; * Uses the route planning dashboard to extract relevant information supporting decision-making, proactively addressing potential issues highlighted in customer reservations and accelerating solutions; * Continuously seeks greater agility and efficiency in resolving stockout cases, applying careful analysis and making assertive decisions with relative autonomy; * Identifies operational bottlenecks and organizes the team according to peak workflow periods, ensuring order picking time and customer wait time align with company-established guidelines; * Demonstrates proficiency in analyzing reports, proposing actions to enhance existing processes and achieve desired outcomes; * Supports the Logistics Operations Manager in selecting, hiring, motivating, developing, and retaining staff per sector evaluation and needs; * Continuously seeks improvement opportunities, anticipates problems, and contributes appropriate solutions; * Collaborates with the manager in preparing reports aimed at increasing productivity and achieving departmental objectives; * Becomes a reference point for the team by sharing departmental metrics and achieving established goals; * Guides team members on the daily management plan and supervises activity execution. Monitors inventory control—including slotting, position storage, and inventory counts; * Ensures proper use and maintenance of tools available to teams (strapping bands, label printers, data collectors, forklifts, pallet jacks, radios, printers, computers, etc); * Ensures effectiveness of all inventory management processes—both rotational and general. Monitors execution of movement, transit, slotting, and negative inventory processes and promotes a culture of correct slotting; * Ensures compliance with the stockout procedure and maintains constant vigilance over system stock deficiency monitoring, preparing weekly reports on this topic. Assists in training and developing staff (store and logistics) on resource usage and adherence to material handling and storage processes; * Plays a central role in anti-shrinkage efforts and delivers more in-depth reports during briefing meetings; serves as a model of effectiveness in counter-power and adoption of best practices; * Guides team members on the daily operations plan, collaborates in loss prevention, safeguards merchandise inventory quality and condition, oversees the logistics yard, and directs the team to keep it consistently clean and organized; * Ensures all goods are verified and in perfect condition. Monitors returns collection per established commercial agreements, guiding the team toward improved communication and process adherence; * Instructs the team to report any discrepancies in product registrations to the registration support team, preventing inventory errors. Develops work schedules while always verifying operational requirements and legislative regulations; * Leads the team in appropriately defining storage spaces according to incoming products to optimize verification and storage management; guides third-party personnel responsible for palletizing, ensuring this process is correctly performed per defined standards; * Ensures complete recording of FOB freight charges and verifies that all have been paid correctly, controlling pallets in debit with suppliers to ensure transparency in commercial relationships and fulfillment of obligations; * Creates training agendas for other departments on the commercial agreement-based returns process, aiming to instruct them on standard palletizing and verification procedures, ensuring all follow established protocols.
