Job Summary:
The Check-Up Medicine and Diagnostics Laboratory seeks Receptionists to handle patient service, exam scheduling, and administrative routines in the laboratory.

Check\-Up Medicine and Diagnostics, the third-largest laboratory in the state of Minas Gerais by number of processed tests—specializing in Clinical Analyses and Imaging Diagnostics—is seeking Receptionists.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Greet and serve patients in person, either at the advanced counter (ticket kiosk) or service counter;
* Register and update patient data in the system, verify medical orders, and request authorization from health insurance providers;
* Schedule exams (Clinical Analyses, Imaging, or Home Collection), and provide exam preparation instructions (e.g., fasting, collection procedures, timing) when applicable;
* Prepare exam quotations for private clients and record them in the system;
* Deliver exam results according to laboratory protocols;
* Support the team with general administrative routines;
* Receive payments, manage cash flow, issue invoices, and report daily receipts to the finance department;
* Assist in verifying cleanliness of the department and notify leadership when maintenance is required;
* Maintain an organized and clean service counter and department storage cabinets;
* Provide support to new staff through knowledge transfer, acting as a multiplier and assisting with service delivery;
* Organize, verify, and monitor daily health insurance authorization forms, supporting leadership in related follow-ups;
* Ensure timely release and issuance of health insurance forms, verifying medical orders and eligibility;
* Perform daily double-checks on service forms;
* Monitor pending service issues as they arise;
* Fulfill other related tasks requested by leadership, as needed.
**Requirements:**
* Availability to work flexible hours;
* Flexibility regarding logistics;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Ability to handle stressful situations;
* Basic computer literacy;
* Completed high school education (mandatory);
* Experience in customer service (preferred);
* Prior experience as a receptionist in the healthcare sector (minimum 1 year preferred);
