Learn more about this opportunity and submit your application!** **Your responsibilities:** Monitor, participate in, and execute activities related to production processes, optimization, projects, operations, raw materials, work organization, and methods — focusing on improving productivity; analyze current processes; propose efficient routines and standardizations for the Wood Yard area, aiming to ensure process improvements and maximize operational performance at lower cost and with increased equipment longevity — all while complying with applicable norms and procedures related to various departmental activities. **Responsibilities and duties** **Learn more about your tasks:** * Technically monitor medium- and high-complexity production processes by tracking process variables, suggesting and implementing corrective actions, recommending adjustments, and pursuing optimal operational practices; * Request and oversee technical, economic, and environmental feasibility studies for new projects, proposing technical, economic, and environmental alternatives to enhance and adapt original project designs; * Diagnose operational issues and propose necessary corrections based on laboratory results and operational variables, aiming to normalize and improve the production process; * Propose process or equipment improvements through studies and observations, with the goal of increasing output and/or reducing costs; * Monitor and analyze environmental impacts, suggest actions based on data and observations, and maintain environmental parameters within established limits; * Assist in developing sectoral maintenance shutdown and major plant shutdown programs, and monitor and guide execution to keep schedules and targets on track; propose improvement actions; * Contribute to and promote safe work practices through observations, guidance, and planning; suggest actions to protect employees’ physical integrity and prevent damage to company assets; * Support and participate in medium- and high-complexity project management, monitoring phases, requirements, service quality, priorities, and operational changes, providing information to achieve optimal results; * Maintain ethical relationships with equipment suppliers, develop products and services, seek best-in-class products at lowest market cost, aim to reduce overall costs, and ensure highest quality; * Prepare medium- and high-complexity technical reports to document and communicate studies, analyses, and production process improvements. **Requirements and qualifications** **What we expect from you:** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Production Engineering; * Preferred: Specialization in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing; * Minimum experience in pulp and paper industry. * Specific knowledge: * Advanced English (preferred); * Intermediate SAP; * Desired experience with the PIMS system; * Willingness to relocate to Araguari or Uberlândia - MG. **Additional information** **What we offer:** Health insurance; Dental insurance; Meal and food allowance (on-site); Gympass; Free shuttle transportation for employees; Profit Sharing Program (PLR); Emotional, social, financial, legal counseling and incident support (ACOLHER Program); Pharmacy benefits (optional); Private pension plan (optional); Life insurance (optional); Discounts on Dexco products (Deca, Portinari, Hydra, Ceusa, Durafloor…); Discounts on SESI/MG schools; Discounts on technical courses, undergraduate, graduate, master’s, and doctoral programs at various institutions; Discounts on clubs and water parks; * And much more! **Apply now to our selection process. Located in the Triângulo Mineiro region, between the municipalities of Araguari and Indianópolis, the factory has an annual production capacity of 500,000 tons and will use raw material sourced exclusively from 100% certified forests. Forest areas utilized by the company will feature robust infrastructure for monitoring and protection. All soluble cellulose produced will be exported to Lenzing’s factories, where it will be transformed into low-environmental-impact fiber for yarns and textiles used in clothing, as well as other applications such as wet wipes, facial masks, and hygiene products.
