Job Summary: A Purchasing Analyst responsible for quotations, negotiations, and procurement of raw materials and inputs for furniture manufacturing, including supplier development and evaluation. Cross-functional collaboration with production, engineering, and logistics. An office furniture manufacturer in Sumaré is seeking a Purchasing Analyst. Milla Comércio designs, manufactures, and distributes the most comprehensive range of chairs and furniture for diverse needs. With a modern factory featuring high production capacity and over 20 years of experience, Milla manufactures chairs and furniture—from selecting high-quality raw materials through to final product completion, involving multiple processes including cutting, machining, cleaning, painting, carpentry, upholstery, assembly, and finishing. **Responsibilities:** Conduct quotations, negotiations, and procurement of raw materials, hardware, steel sheets, MDF, tubes, components, packaging, paints, accessories, and other inputs used in furniture manufacturing. Develop, qualify, and evaluate suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms and alternative supply options. Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery. Monitor inventory levels jointly with Warehousing and Production Planning & Control (PCP), preventing stockouts or material overstock. Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, payment terms, and supply contracts. Track departmental performance indicators (costs, delivery lead times, service levels, and supplier quality). Collaborate closely with Production, PCP, Engineering, Warehousing, Finance, and Logistics departments to meet factory requirements. Analyze purchasing needs based on production planning and consumption forecasts. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, continuous improvement, and procurement process optimization. Ensure accurate registration of suppliers, materials, and commercial terms in the ERP system. Prepare management reports and support strategic decision-making. Previous experience as a Buyer, Supply Chain Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or Procurement Coordinator may indicate alignment with some responsibilities of this position.
