Identifies, assesses, monitors, and mitigates risks in close integration with various bank departments. Strengthens governance, integrity culture, and business sustainability. **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** As a Data Engineer III, you will work in the Data Modeling and Capital area, with the following key responsibilities: * Develop and maintain data engineering solutions focused on operational risk management and other non-financial risks. * Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark and SQL, with attention to performance, cost, and scalability. * Process, transform, and deliver large volumes of data from diverse sources to meet regulatory and business requirements. * Work within a layered architecture (medallion), ensuring data quality, governance, traceability, and reliability in critical area processes. * Apply best practices for version control with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines to enable predictable and auditable deliveries. * Support the modernization of the data platform and its evolution toward a more distributed, domain-oriented data model (data mesh). * Collaborate closely with technical and business teams, proposing continuous improvements to data processes and solutions. * **Work Model** Hybrid – 3 days onsite Unit: Osasco – SP **Profile We Seek** We value professionals who deeply understand customers, work collaboratively, and transform knowledge into impactful deliverables. Candidates should demonstrate ownership mindset, consistent execution, results orientation, continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and the ability to leverage technology to turn challenges into relevant business solutions. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related fields. * Solid experience in Data Engineering, working on high-complexity projects and mission-critical environments. * Proficiency in Databricks—the primary platform used by the team. Advanced knowledge of Python/PySpark and SQL for development, transformation, and manipulation of large-scale data. * Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes, with genuine focus on performance and cost efficiency. * Hands-on experience with data architecture, modeling, and governance—including best practices for data quality and traceability. * Fluency in Git/GitHub and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines applied to data projects. * Senior technical profile—autonomous, experienced in data environment maintenance and modernization, and in regulatory projects.
