We have an opening for a Junior Buyer to work at our client's site — Food Industry sector — Temporary contract for 4 months.
Mission: Execute low-value material and service procurement activities, ensuring efficient supply, on-time delivery, and cost optimization, in compliance with internal policies and company quality standards.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Conduct quotations and negotiations for low-value purchases (indirect materials, support supplies, administrative and operational items).
* Issue purchase orders and monitor the entire process through to delivery.
* Develop and maintain relationships with small- and medium-sized suppliers.
* Identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost reduction.
* Monitor delivery deadlines and ensure continuous supply of departmental requirements.
* Verify invoices and support the finance team in payment processing.
* Organize and maintain up-to-date supplier and item master data.
* Support the procurement team in operational and administrative tasks.
* Ensure compliance with internal regulations, procurement policies, and food industry requirements (where applicable).
**Requirements**
* Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields.
* Prior experience (or internship) in procurement, supply chain, or administrative roles.
* Basic knowledge of procurement processes and negotiation techniques.
* Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
Compensation: R$3.750,00 — R$3.800,00 per month
