Works with cloud-native technologies **Description:** ---------------- **Software Architect I** The Software Architect I is responsible for designing, documenting, and supporting the implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure software solutions aligned with the organization’s technology strategy. Acts as a technical reference in one or more squads, ensuring compliance with architectural standards, engineering best practices, and cloud-native infrastructure guidelines. Collaborates with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure robust, observable, secure, and growth-ready solutions. **Systems Architecture** * Define application architectures focused on scalability, modularity, high availability, and maintainability. * Design distributed systems and event-driven architectures. * Ensure adherence to principles such as Clean Architecture, DDD, and SOLID. * Create technical diagrams (C4 Model, sequence diagrams, integration architecture diagrams). * Define integration standards between internal and external systems (REST, messaging, events). Cloud, Platform, and Infrastructure (MANDATORY) * Design cloud-native architectures aligned with the organization’s adopted standards (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Work with Kubernetes for workload orchestration. * Implement and support GitOps practices using ArgoCD. * Manage and structure infrastructure as code using Terraform. * Ensure secure secret management with Vault. * Manage container images and versioning via Harbor. * Define containerization standards using Docker. * Support high availability, horizontal scalability, and resilience strategies. Engineering and Quality * Support squads in implementing best practices (DDD, SOLID, TDD, automated testing). * Participate in architectural reviews and code reviews. * Support decisions related to databases (SQL/NoSQL), performance, and scalability. * Ensure appropriate observability (logs, metrics, tracing). * Support definition and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines. **Modernization and Technological Evolution** * Support modernization of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures. * Evaluate new technologies and propose strategic adoptions. * Contribute to technical governance and architectural standardization. * Support continuous improvement initiatives in DevSecOps.
