**Job Description** **This position is on-site in Governador Valadares - MG** This role requires on-site work in Governador Valadares - MG. **Who will you work with?** You will join the Engineering team at Wabtec Corporation’s Governador Valadares unit. Within our organization, we develop solutions for our customers in the field of railway track maintenance, understanding their needs and transforming them into unique global projects. One of our core responsibilities is developing structural designs for equipment using specialized software to support subsequent manufacturing processes, as well as performing simulations and tests to verify technical compliance of designs. In this role, you will learn about our challenges and be invited to contribute creative and innovative solutions to demonstrate your potential. **How will you make a difference?** As a draftsman within the Projects area, in the Engineering department, you will be invited to explore our full portfolio of solutions and directly contribute to its expansion. You will interact closely with other internal departments such as Production and Supply Chain, and more importantly, participate in initiatives aimed at continuously optimizing our processes. You will collaborate with people from diverse areas, educational backgrounds, and experiences—providing opportunities both to learn and to share knowledge across a wide range of topics. **What do we want to know about you?** * Technical education in Mechanical, Electrotechnical, Electro-electronic or Electromechanical fields, or a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Production Engineering—or currently pursuing such a degree; * Basic knowledge of English and Spanish; * Knowledge of mechanical design, machine elements, and manufacturing processes; * Proficiency in specialized mechanical drafting tools: Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Vault; * Proficiency in other specialized mechanical drafting and structural analysis tools is a plus (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS, etc.); * Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is a plus; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite desirable for creating document templates and reports; * Organizational skills and proactivity; * Commitment to diversity and ability to work collaboratively in teams. **What will your day-to-day look like?** You will directly engage in modeling mechanical parts, assemblies, and equipment; detailing, archiving, and releasing them. You will collaborate with the technical team during product conception for railway track maintenance and follow through their manufacturing.
