Ethics and integrity underpin all business relationships, alongside humility, commitment, and diversity. **Job Description** * Review occurrences reported in the deslinting report prepared by the shift operator; verify machine operation and equipment calibration; and verbally inform the shift supervisor when repairs are required (to be escalated to Operator II or III); * Perform daily cleaning of the magnetic systems of deslinting machines, decorticators, defibrillators, and linter beaters to prevent quality issues and fire hazards; * Continuously monitor deslinters to ensure they are adequately filled with seeds—fed via the surge bin—to guarantee uninterrupted production; * Blow out decorticators using compressed-air hoses and brush safety sieves to maintain cleanliness, ensure optimal hygiene conditions in the department, and prevent equipment failure; * Collect and record samples of deslinted seed, decorticated hull, linter, and woolly seed destined for crushing, according to sampling schedule, and deliver them to the oil laboratory at the end of the shift; * Blow out defibrillator screens and HF (short-fiber) beaters using compressed-air hoses to enhance cellulose quality and ensure linter quality standards; * Guide and supervise operational assistants in performing their daily tasks and in organizing and maintaining equipment; * Maintain equipment, instruments, and tools under one’s responsibility; inspect them regularly as needed; * Monitor, as required, the final stage of the hull system—including hull storage; * Maintain departmental cleanliness by implementing 5S practices daily; * Work in confined spaces to unblock elevators, with required documentation **Qualifications** Availability to work on a 6x2 rotating shift schedule **Additional Information** Additional Information for the job **Diversity, Inclusion and Equity** Diversity is part of our DNA.
