Job Summary:
The professional will support coordination and nutritionists in supervising the quality of food preparations, guide the kitchen operational team, and monitor departmental workflow.

OSID – Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce is one of the largest philanthropic institutions in the country, performing approximately 5.6 million outpatient procedures annually in Bahia for users of the Unified Health System (SUS), elderly individuals, people with disabilities and craniofacial deformities, people experiencing homelessness, users of psychoactive substances, and children and adolescents at social risk.
This entity offers a unique service profile in Brazil, distributed across 21 centers providing assistance to low-income populations in the areas of Health, Social Assistance, Scientific Research, Health Education, Education, and preservation and dissemination of the history of its founder, Saint Dulce of the Poor.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
1\-Support coordination and nutritionists in supervising the final quality of food preparations, including menu and staff reallocation when necessary.
2\-Guide and supervise the kitchen operational team, including Cook I, kitchen assistants, and waiters in internal activities.
3\-Monitor the department’s operational workflow and propose improvements to coordination and nutritionists.
4\-Prepare meals by cutting, mashing, grinding, and seasoning foods; placing them in appropriate containers; heating; sautéing; baking; boiling; and frying; verifying desired doneness before serving.
5\-Prepare sauces by mixing ingredients and storing them in appropriate containers to ensure meal preparation quality.
6\-Supervise kitchen equipment and report any issues to coordination and/or nutritionists, suggesting optimal usage methods.
7\-Monitor meal quality, verify distribution in the dining hall, and arrange necessary replenishments to prevent waste.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Bachelor's degree in Gastronomy preferred;
* Six months of experience in similar positions.
