




Job Title: Head Chef Main Responsibilities: - Plan, coordinate and supervise kitchen activities, ensuring efficient and effective execution of all processes; - Create and update menus, defining dishes, preparations and cooking techniques, seeking innovation and excellence in food quality; - Manage the kitchen team, guiding and training staff on culinary techniques, dish presentation, and good hygiene and food safety practices; - Ensure compliance with quality, taste, presentation and portioning standards for dishes, according to company specifications; - Monitor and control ingredient costs and inventory, aiming to optimize resources and ensure business sustainability; - Participate in the planning and execution of events and special activities, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Required Qualifications: - Technical or higher education degree in Gastronomy or Culinary Arts; - Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as Head Chef or in a similar position; - Advanced knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredient pairing and dish presentation; - Leadership skills, effective communication and teamwork ability; - Capacity for planning, organization, and management of people and processes; - Proficiency in good hygiene practices, food safety and relevant legislation. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience managing kitchen teams in high-demand environments; - Knowledge of cost management and inventory control; - Creativity and innovation in menu development and creation of new dishes.
