**Tronox Pigmentos do Brasil S/A is seeking a Maintenance Planning Leader for its Titanium Dioxide plant in Camaçari \- BA.** The professional will be responsible for leading maintenance planning activities across multiple areas or functions, including shutdown management where applicable. They will assume responsibility for complex long-term scheduling and for directing and managing maintenance planning objectives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s global strategy.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Collaborate with maintenance stakeholders and lead continuous improvement of the maintenance scheduling and planning process.
* Ensure review of the 52-week plan aligned with asset lifecycle requirements.
* Monitor, track, and regularly report maintenance performance indicators (SHIs / KPIs) per corporate maintenance standards.
* Lead and develop new team members, as well as conduct internal training, ensuring organizational capability development.
* Lead planners in continuously improving the quality of existing standard task instructions and developing new instructions to enhance planning efficiency and build succession-ready talent.
* Estimate, plan, and prepare major plant shutdown events to ensure successful execution by area maintenance teams.
* Ensure adequate material and support service reserves are available, guaranteeing on-schedule execution and preventing deviations.
* Coordinate and integrate with other functional areas to secure necessary support and recommend improvements to equipment, methods, or processes.
* Contribute to the development of strategies, policies, and procedures by leveraging lessons learned and participating in initiatives to improve standard maintenance tasks and procedures.
* Schedule major plant shutdowns: lead shutdown, campaign, and major maintenance planning and scheduling; ensure scope quality, estimates, sequencing, materials, contracts, and work readiness; serve as technical reference during shutdown preparation and site execution.
* Promote Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE/SHE) values within the team; communicate safety regulations; assess and report risks and deviations; initiate corrective actions when required.
* Backlog Management and Prioritization: monitor and maintain maintenance backlog within company-defined acceptable limits; lead the work order prioritization process with Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability teams; ensure balance among corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance, focusing on operational risk and safety.
* Integration with Production and Operations: act as the primary interface between Maintenance Planning and Production/Operations; ensure maintenance plans align with operational constraints and business goals; actively participate in short-, medium-, and long-term routines (weekly, monthly meetings, and shutdowns).
* Resource and Capacity Management: plan and balance labor capacity (internal and contracted) within the area; identify resource bottlenecks and propose solutions (re-scheduling, temporary reinforcement, outsourcing); support decisions regarding mobilization of maintenance contracts.
* Financial and Cost Management: manage the maintenance budget through forecasting, variance analysis, and lessons learned; evaluate impacts of scope changes, re-scheduling, and emergencies on maintenance costs; contribute to local cost-reduction initiatives focused on efficiency and reliability.
* Reliability and Asset Management: collaborate with Reliability Engineering to define risk-based maintenance plans (RCM, FMEA, predictive strategies); ensure formal evaluation and documentation of maintenance plan changes.
* Systems and Digitalization: ensure effective use of CMMS/EAM (MAC); guarantee data quality for planning, work orders, technical lists, and standard times; support local digitalization and process improvement initiatives.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering fields;
* Experience in maintenance planning with solid supervisory experience over maintenance teams in chemical/petrochemical, mining, steel, or pulp & paper industries;
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and MS Project;
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documents, bills of materials, and technical specifications;
* Analytical and organizational skills, with focus on deadlines, costs, resources, and process optimization;
* Leadership profile with strong communication, influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills across operations, engineering, and contracting.
* Desired participation in courses or certifications related to:
* Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM);
* Project Management;
* Performance Indicator Analysis (KPIs);
* Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
**Additional Information** * Intermediate English proficiency, sufficient for reading and understanding technical documents and basic communication;
* Experience in contract management and administration, including scope, cost, schedule, and supplier performance control;
* Experience in planning and implementing capital projects from definition through execution and delivery;
* Comprehensive knowledge of multidisciplinary maintenance covering mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil disciplines;
* Familiarity with industrial assembly processes, with attention to safety practices.
