Join us in living the new! **ATTENTION: AXIA Energia does not charge fees for tests, medical exams, or participation in the selection process.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Job Mission** Plan, control, and analyze the physical and financial performance of projects to ensure predictability, compliance with contractual deadlines, and decision-making support through integrated schedules, indicators, and critical analyses of risks and deviations. **Main Responsibilities** **Planning** * Develop, review, and maintain project schedules (Levels L2, L3, and, when required, L4\). * Structure planning from engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and energization phases. * Integrate physical, financial, and contractual planning. * Support definition of the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure). **Control and Monitoring** * Monitor physical progress of field activities and interfaces with contractors. * Perform physical progress measurements and curve analysis (S-curves, actual vs. planned progress). * Identify schedule deviations, critical paths, and schedule-related risks. * Propose recovery plans (replanning, fast\-tracking, crashing, sequencing). **Critical Analysis and Reporting** * Prepare periodic management reports (status reports, dashboards, KPIs). * Support monitoring meetings, project reviews, and executive committees. * Analyze the impact of contractual changes on the schedule. * Contribute to schedule risk and critical interface analyses. **Integration and Governance** * Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, contracts, environment, land acquisition, and safety teams. * Support compliance with regulatory and contractual milestones. * Ensure adherence to governance guidelines and corporate planning standards. **Performance Indicators (examples)** * Schedule adherence (SPI, physical progress). * Reliability of schedule forecasts. * Response time to critical deviations. * Quality and timeliness of reports. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, or related fields. * Experience in planning and controlling energy projects. * Proficiency in planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent). * Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, IPMA, Lean/LPS). * Knowledge of schedule analysis, critical path method, and physical control. * Strong analytical ability and organizational skills. **Desirable Requirements** * Experience in hydroelectric power plant projects. * Experience with EPC contracts or large infrastructure projects. * Experience with physical\-financial integration. * Lean/Lean Construction or Last Planner System certification. **Strategic Differentiator of the Role** The Planning Engineer is a key role in ensuring predictability, early risk identification, and leadership support — directly contributing to strategic decision-making and project success. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** At AXIA Energia, the well-being and quality of life of our people power the energy that drives us forward.
